As a child, I was fascinated by my father’s Leica camera, and at a young age found an old darkroom set in the attic that started my lifelong love for photography. My dream career at that time was to become a photographer for National Geographic. But my father warned me that it would be hard to make a living as a photographer and I gave up on that dream for the time being, but kept my love for photography

In 2015, life handed me a new challenge in the form of a blood cancer. I was forced to leave my work in IT, but it added a new spark to my photography, giving me a lot of time to focus on my art.

Currently I live in Tucson, AZ with my wife Karen, and Marley the wonderdoodle.
